Lesson 2: What are the types of scams? The Trading Trouble/Sending Sourness Scams

I am assuming you have seen me saying, for example, so-and-so was found doing the: blah blah blah scam. Are you confused? Well, you won't be. This lesson is about two types of scams that go under the same lines. They are the Trading Trouble and the Sending Sourness Scams.

Let's start with the Trading Trouble scam. This scam is pretty popular these days. The scammer usually has a store-bought item on trade, a non member necklace is very common. He will be saying something like this: "Hey, People! If you trade me a fox hat, I will give you my outfit!" or, "Trade me a worn and you get ten betas!" You know, something like that.

DONT DO IT. I REPEAT, DO NOOOOOT DO IT!!!!! It won't end well if you do! "BUT I WANNA!" NO! YOU DONT!

Oh, wow. You decide to do it anyway. You trade your worn. Hey, look at that! HE JUST LEFT WITH YOUR WORN!!! GREAT THINKING!
Ok, lets pretend that didn't happen. Instead of trading, I recommend asking him questions so you have a full on idea if he is a scammer or not. So you ask him, "Why can't I just trade my Beta mat for your Party Hat?"
He may answer with, "Well, that won't work." or, "Uh, if you trade for the necklace, it'll separate the good trades from the bad trades."

Ok, for one thing, if it takes a while for them to answer, its most likely a scam. They are probably thinking of what to say. I am not a scammer, don't think I am giving you tips.

Anyway, back to the lesson. Basically, that is the Trading Trouble Scam.

Now, we will talk about the Sending Sourness Scam. Since non-members cannot send gifts, your safe! Yay!!! But members, really, watch out for this scam.
You see a jammer saying, "Send me a beta flooring and I will send you -place rare here-!!!!"         So you decide to. You send your sweets wallpaper. And guess what happens? He just simply logs out and takes your sweets wallpaper!!! See? It's roughly exactly like the Trading Trouble Scam.

Here are some people who were found doing these scams:
Mintfur48 (Sending Sourness)
modercycle (I guess you could say both)
Alexb6 (Attempt, Sending Sourness)
CrayCrayKoala (Trading)
taffymonkey (Sending)
